Korg Forums

One thing I'm curious to know is within the Korg worldwide organization, who makes styles that go in to the Pa X units?
I'm guessing Korg Italy probably makes some since they make the hardware units, but then again Korg USA who does NOT manufacture the units, sells styles up through Pa 3X.

Are there other Korg facilities that make them too? For example, is there a middle eastern branch of Korg that makes the Arabic and other mid eastern styles or are those independent suppliers that are not part of the Korg organization?

For those of us in the USA, would we reasonably expect Korg USA to generate more styles or was the push to populate the Pa4X with more styles before its release the end of it? AND the same question for both Eastern and Western Europe, Japan, Brazil, Africa, India, etc., etc.?

I'm going to guess most styles built for the major manufacturers are all made by 3rd party independent contractors and not the manufacturers themselves.

I thought I saw it mentioned in a forum somewhere some years ago that many western styles in the Pa series originated in the UK. Perhaps Paolo could comment.
