I agree.

When you have french horns, a trumpet section, a baritone sax, a flute player, woodwind section, cellos and violins, etc, they all have to play and sound organized in the mix.

Not only is articulation involved for each instrument or section, volume has to pan in and out and FX/Eq can be great tools.

This is different than competing with a live drummer, 2 guitarists and a bass player.
