(I posted this in the KAOSS forum but no response yet, I don't know how active that page is)
Hello my friends, I have a weird issue that I can't quite figure out...
I have my KP3+'s MIDI tempo slaved to my E2 which controls my master tempo for my whole rig. Something happened the other day when I was changing some connections on my other gear, I accidentally turned the Kaoss Pad on and off two times. Now I can't get it to sample 16 bars, I only have the option to go up as far as 8 and even then it seems like the tempo is doubled or something because when I try to sample the E2 for 8 bars it samples 4 bars.
Do I have to do a factory reset? Has anyone else experienced this?
Any help is GREATLY appreciated as I need to get this figured out before my next show.

Have you checked those mini midi cables from your E2?
Changing some cables is often more hazardous than switching kp3 on&off twice.
Trace the problem to a faulty cable if you can. Find and try a replacement for all midi cables from e2 > kp3.
Even just switch your input e2 midi cable ,into its output (ie switch current set up around) and make sure connections are tight.
Just a thought.

For anyone curious, a factory reset solved the problem.
