Still not sure i have the right sound but its a huge difference from what i put together before this choice of three programs layered in combi over a drum track selection.
All factory programs with no edits other than some effects linking and timbre level setting.

HD-1 Piano
STR electric piano
Mod7 electric piano
Studio standard kit.
4 timbres.

Sampler recording while played live realtime with no karma or any other performance controls used. Just fingers on the keys and some foot on damper. A little Improv here and there but its mostly an old composition of mine brought back to life in a new sound on Kronos. I composed it on piano and seems to fit piano sound best.
I use Soundcloud as a second sound check for new sounds i put together. Spending so many hours on Kronos making them ,that i need a different medium to hear the sound through when i think i am done ,or else it sounds used up and worn out to me..

Let me write down the actual programs with pattern ,timbre levels and effects. Its all programs from the Factory set of K2.
I can share the Combi file but i will need to get to the main computer to figure out a file share. I'm using an Ipad now which isn't set up for file transfers from Kronos.

I-B015 "Once in my life piano" IFX 11 & 41 ~timbre level 115
I-F110 "Physical E.Piano" IFX 37,82,96,101 & 100 ~timbre level 75

The F-110 program was the breakthrough EP for blending with the piano. I tried so many others this past two months, fustrated me, it was either too much or not a match. This one works and is an STR engine EP. so its tamed down to what seems to be a jazz guitar envelope. Was tempted to use a guitar instead but been doing too much of that lately, plus i wrote this song to be piano piece.

Im thinking i could tone down the effects on the I-F110 EP and add in a fitting synth or orchestra strings selection ,maybe a blend of slow and fast syth for orchestra or ambient styles.

If you can alter it to something interesting, please share it back.. Thanks

Thanks 19naia for a combi, but it is only for K2 users or all others who bought prg's and combies which is add to K2. From all others users of K1 and KX it is useless. I tried it on my Kronos X and I got terrible sound, without piano...!

Pedja, with the info 3 posts higher you can fix that for the K1 and the KX. (I just did and sounds great)

Hi Pedja

I am linking a PCG file but as Kronos-1 doesn't have 'Once in my Life Piano', I have substituted it with OASYS Piano I-B009. Hope this gets you started.

The combi is in User F - you can load it into any slot of your kronos, and it should play ok as long as long as your internal programs are unchanged from the original.

Sorry Pedja. There are ways around it like Fibcouple has offered, but now i suspect you are interested in having a K2 factory file.
It can be linked to you here just like we linked the combi file, but it will require you have the related EX sets. That could require authorization codes which i cannot provide.
Last i heard, Premium pianos of SGX-2 would need to be bought at the Korg store for models earlier than K2. K2 also came with 2 installed bonus packs of EX collections and also a free offer for a third EX collection from Kapro.
I don't think those will be able to work for you if we link you a K2 factory file, because of EX authorization codes.

It will be a good start towards the benefits of K2. I recall stories of the K2 factory sample collections being banked and slotted the same as KX factory file ,and the PCG slots and banks are the same in KX. Its possible you have rearranged content in your KX and its possible you may be missing some EX libraries that weren't included until K2 came out.

I will try to get a file share of K2 to you here and you can explore it ,but no guarantees unless you can do all the work of sorting out sample management and getting the required EX collections that you may not be authorized for.

Pedja, this is my attempt at sharing K2 factory file. If you have KX it should be able to work and possible some EX sets may need you to purchase.

You most likely already know this, but since i am offering you something that can overwrite everything you have worked hard to have onboard before trying to add my Combi ; Save All You have in a back up. All KGE,KSC,PCG,SNG, just do an entrie save all file to go back to to restore what you have before this.

Ok, this should load and you should let the EX files go to the banks they are automatically set to go. Don't change anything. If it doesn't work out, i still say don't give up. If it doesn't work, then write a new topic requesting "PCG TOOLS" help ,and see if someone who has done PCG sorting between the K2 and KX can settle you. But what i have read is that KX and K2 are mapped the same for installed content and PCG.

As long as this file shows up in Global mode "autoload" for "Add KSC." i think the worst problem would be finding some EX set that doesn't go in because of no authorization..
It will be a matter of purchasing it. Go to your "Options info" in global mode to see what authoraizations you have. EX17 and EX18 came with the K2 factory file but are the only two EX showing authorization in "Options info". If you don't show authorized for EX17 and EX18, then you will have to purchase them to have a complete K2 factory file. If you show authorized for EX17 and EX18 then you should be able to have a complete K2 factory file work for you.

Sorry if my advice isnt entirely correct but i think its enough to get you in the right direction if you care to have K2 factory file on your KX
