ESX STRETCH

Hi all! I have another question. I use the esx for tekno music, but in this there arent the five part of synth , there are 2 keyboards, 2 stretch and 1 SLICe.. i want to understand what is the work of stretch part and slice part..

They're both meant so that you can pop a loop in and have it match tempo.

Stretch parts are really cool, in the sample edit menu, just specify how many steps your sample should be (every 4 beats = 16 steps) and save it. Now when you use that part in the stretcah part, it will paly back in sync with your pattern's tempo. COOL!

Slice part is a little more complex: you need to go into sample edit mode and do Shift+13 to enter slice edit mode. Here you divide, say, a sample of a drum loop, up into its individual beats. You can then extract those drum hits to use individually. This is pretty cool too and can get some weird results, but I find timestretch more immediate and generally gives better results.

No, it sucks. I feel like it can do slice parts, maybe? But definitely no stretch parts, which sucks.
