I have one of these synth modules and wondered if it can be connected to my Kronos? Any advice appreciated! Thanks?

Sure, via a MIDI cable.

A couple of MIDI cables and you're good to go. I have the JV1080 and it's one of my favourite modules.

One MIDI cable is enough - OUT from Kronos into IN of JV1010. There's no need to go the other way around since it's a module, not a keyboard.

Please bear with me, I have been looking through help pages and Global instructions but can't find how to get the 2 things working together🤔 MIDI cable is connected correctly, both items on/powered/volume controls ok. I think the problem is solved by knowing where to route the JV sounds to...am I needing to access from Global, or elsewhere?😳 Any pointers would be much appreciated...I realise it's not plug in and play, but tech evades me. Cheers!

You access it from Combi mode, you need to set the timbre to EXT mode, set MIDI channel, program change number, and so on. Of course, make sure that JV1010 receives over that same MIDI channel.

Sounds as if you have only connected the midi cable?

Where do you have the audio-outputs from your JV1080 connected to? Do you use a mixer?

You can also route the audio signal from your JV1080 modul directly into the analog inputs from Kronos.

Make sure you did connect the midi out of the Kronos to the Midi In of the Jv 1010 first.
