Keyboard Case

Post by kalim »

Hi All,

I have a Korg PA4x -76 keys.
I want to buy a very GOOD QUALITY casing for my keyboard.

I live in a place with high humidity, BAD airport service, BAD luggage handling.

So, I want something really good, with possible, wheel at the bottom of the case, and I can have the flight case with robust quality.

Please share me your opinion and experiences.
Also share me some good websites where I can really get good stuffs.

Thank you in advance.

I think the answer to this question is that it depends on three things.

1. If you handle your equipment entirely on your own ( No Roadies or Airport Idiots)

2. Method and Frequency of Traveling.

3. Budget.

There is a comprehensive thread already regarding case types which is worth a read. For me personally there is only one solution for any of my keyboards and that is a full flightcase which will provide more or less total protection for all eventualities. The only trade off is the added weight that a case like this adds but you cannot achieve full protection with padded bags and ABS cases which in the case of the latter will provide a decent level of protection weighed against the above points.

Here is what I use for my Pa4x

Hope this helps

If the extra weight of the case is not a problem for you I recommend this on.
I have the same for Pa4x 61 keys, it's solid, practical, nice design and it has wheels.
