Bummer. Just last week I decided to do a "King Crimson Rediscovery" and bought the first 8 albums chronologically that I haven't owned in decades. I've been enjoying them immensely. "In the Court of the Crimson King" (first album) is an absolute masterpiece and Greg Lake's vocals are a big part of it. Great bass work, too, especially on 21st Century Schizoid Man. And of course, what can you say about the first ELP album? RIP Greg.

Small music world. I was just enjoying 21st Century Schizoid Man by the 2012 Greg Lake Band

Great musician and group member.

Loved Court of the Crimson King when I first heard it.

And that first ELP album.

Sad news

He was of course great in both King Crimson and ELP. and was clever enough to have a christmas hit that sounds so jolly but few people realise iwhat it is really about.

He was an incredible business man and musician with a silver voice, always very serious about putting on a seriously good show. RIP Mr. Lake

Wow. I'm not even over the loss of Keith - mind you, not sure I ever will forget that man or the sad circumstances of his departure, and I'm sure plenty here would agree.

Never the less, R.I.P Greg. :|

'Touch and Go' for me, great song. (Final Countdown my arse.....)
