Just a thought, I always format the usb stick in the Kronos before copying the files from my computer. That way, I'm sure that the files are in correct Kronos format.
I think that some problems might occur due to misformating of the usb stick.
3.10 freezing possible causes

Yes there may be a bug in 3.10. Apparently if you have to programs in layered or split mode and both sound patches use/engage KARMA engine, then the main one will give part of it's Karma sound engine (partition) to the second sound, causing it to freeze.
The system warns you of that fact. Simple solution. uncheck Karma on one of the sound patches so you don't overtax the karma engine until they get this bug fixed.
I own two Kronos.......a 88 and 73. As a safe precaution........I have yet to update the Kronos 88 to 3.10 which is my primary controlling key board when playing live. Until the bug is worked out.......using my Kronos on bottom and Triton Extremem on top
