How do you fad out midi tracks once you've recorded them?

Post by Korgdude123 »

Hi there,
How do you fade out Midi tracks in sequencer mode once you've already recorded them? I know that if you fade out the volume while recording a track that will fade it out but what if the track already has music data on it and you don't want to lose it?

In sequencer preferences, you want to be in overdub.
Hit record for desired track and move track fader.
When you playback your track, the fader movements up or down will be recorded.

Or just use Control Change 007 which controls the volume of the midi tracks. I use that do to fades in and out on my mid tracks.
