PolySix Arp

Post by jeddy 3 »

Hi Peeps,

Been messing around with the above and I can't seem to get a straight up and down arp over 2 octaves.

The settings are pretty clear to achieve this, but when I hit a chord it randomly plays a note twice, which kinda ruins it.

Would I be better off programming it using the step sequencer?

Any thoughts?

As always, thanks in advance.

Yeah that's a strange behavior the original polysix had that they kept in the emulation. If you want up/down without the repeating notes, you'll need to use karma instead.

Pretty simple with KARMA. Select GE 0000 Arp Model Up/Down. On the KARMA GE Page, Set Velocity Accents Slider to 127, then set Note Range slider to 64. You will have a straight up/down two octave arpeggio without the non-musical repeated note.

Don't forget to disable all the crazy panning by filtering out the CCs, if I recall correctly.
