Saving User Styles to Do a Factory Reset

Fellas,
A little knowledge is a dangerous thing. I tried to convert a Midi style to Pa4x. I didn't realize I had pushed the Factory Protect button to OFF. Now this Midi style is incorporated in my Unplugged Ballad 2 style. So I would like to save my User styles onto a Flash stick and do a Factory Reset. I hope the ruined style will revert back to factory settings. How do I save my User Style Banks?
Thanks
Frank

Use ''Save all'' ,
that will save not only user banks but favorites banks as well, sounds, performances, songbook entries, and pads.
I am sure you don't want to lose them either...

Thanks Korg 1,
If I do as you instructed, and my Factory Unplugged 2 is restored to health; can I then load each of the other User Banks, Pad etc. EXCLUDING
That one style that I screwed up?
Thanks again

when you execute ''Save ALL'' and everything is checked,it doesn't save any factory sound/performance/styles/pads.
It stores only Favorite and user styles, user sounds and user DK,user pads, and all your multisamples and samples, songbook entries as well.
So if you load the saved set after factory reset,it will load them again.
Now,if you want to backup everything on your instrument, included factory styles and sounds that you may possibly changed them or overwrite them with others, you do it by choosing the ''back up'' function in ''utilities'' page I think it is,check it.But in this case, you cannot load individual styles or sounds, you will have to restore the whole backup file.
Last,if you erased/overwite factory sounds, drumkits,or styles, and you want to save them along with your favorite/user styles and programs as well, you will use 'Save All'' ,and after the set is saved, you will go to---> Save--->open the folader called ''ALL''--->open the folder ''Styles''----> save one by one every factory bank into the already saved set.
Do the same for programs/pads if you wish
Just remember that with ''Load All'' it wont load the factory banks, pads, sounds, you will have to load them idividualy by going to your filename.set--->OPEN---> open the ''Styles'' folder, and load each factory Bank. That's it

When you guys have accidentally destroyed/overwritten factory sounds , there is a very quick
procedure to regain back only factory Sounds without affecting your custom SET , even if
custom-made samples are included , only in one move !
- Goto Media/Utility/Factory Restore/execute/uncheck "all" and check only Sounds Box !
- Doing this , only all factory Sounds will be reloaded and your User Resources will be untouched !
EDIT : Doing the same for styles or KBD SET, this will reset your User Banks so as first Save ALL/ open /
click on STYLE or KEYBOARDSET directory and save them , in order after factory Restore to load them back ,
since all others will be untouched !
Hope this helps

Actually it was not accurate for styles ... this will reset to empty only User styles Banks , I will correct post now !
Also this is the Linux based OS advantage after Pa600 !
