I have almost got the Sequencer figured out, though I did not SAVE properly. So there's simple problem number one....Second problem...I have tried everything to import a WAV file to a MIDI track....can anyone send me really simple instructions? Remembering that while music is not new to me, a workstation is!

Hi, It's not clear what save problem you are having, so maybe you need to elaborate a bit more. With the sequencer, remember the data is stored in volatile memory, so it is lost when you power off the Kronos, unless you have saved to disk first.
Second issue: You cannot save WAV data to MIDI - they are totally different formats.

In addition to SAVe your SONG to disk. The next time you power up your Kronos next time, you will need to Load the SONG from Disk for it to play in the SEQ

The sequencer has two types of tracks: MIDI and AUDIO.
You cannot import your wav to a MIDI track.
You have to do that in an audio track.

When done with sequencer work, go to disk mode and enter the Save tab. Then do at least a Song save. Disk recognizes sequencer saves as .sng files. Name it whatever you like and it will always be there to reload.
Sequencer is always wiped clean of memory when you power off kronos. It literally requires loading songs/.sng files from disk mode every time you power on.
Here is a good video tutorial for how to put wave files to sequencer audio tracks. You really do have to follow it closely step by step to get it right. Not difficult but some details to it that are a bit more than usual in kronos
