Hi Busch, burningbusch wrote:In iOS they are locked into the Gadget app. With OSX you have the choice of the app or using them as VST/AU synths.BobTheDog wrote: It must be that I don't see Gadget as a collections of synths but rather as a groove box, different views I guess.
Can the synths in the iOS version be used in other apps as well?
Here's a listing of the individual, independent (in OSX) gadget synths. Roughly half of these are in-app extra cost add-ons in iOS.

Busch.
I have installed the Gadget LE freely from Korg and they don't appear as plugins in my DAWs, is there anything special I need to do?
Thanks for any help.

Hi Andy
No DAW plug-ins are supplied with LE - It's basically a demo version of Gadget with 5 instruments and no added extras.
I'm still not sure whether to invest in the full version or not

If these are not 'open to hardware upgrades' I would not be interested.AnthonyB wrote:When you look at MacBook price increases, it's much more painful.

As much as I like Apple/MBP/mac mini, its a huge mistake to close off the machines to hardware improvements.
I upgraded my 2011 MBP to todays spec which is better use of my money.
