Two questions about Sampling

Post by tatun2010 »

Him guys...I´m using SampleRobot Korg Edition to sample some VSTi and play them in my K2. I get .KSC file and its respective folder, I load it in sampling mode and I get the sound.

I´m new at this so:

1) what about L and R multisamples when you convert to prgram? Should I do something extra to get a stereo program? or I´m just saving it ok?

2) Stereo limiter is the only way to achieve velocity in a program made with samples?

Thanks in advance!

PS: btw...SampleRobot offers 20% rebate if you ask seller for Black Friday!

Hello,

At first, only HD-1 engine can use samples and user samples.

1) If your sample is a stereo one, il will stay as it is once in program.

2) No, once you have import samples in HD-1, you have to set all other parameters as Filter, Amp EG, and so on. Among them, Velocity is one of the A.M.S (alternate modulation source). You can apply it to volume.
