Very frustated saving sample data

Post by tatun2010 »

Hi, l've created a sample based program and l can't save the sample data to get the samples loaded every time l turn on the kronos.

I'm using SampleRobot Korg Edition to get the sound.KSC.

l'll explain what l do and if someone tells me what l do wrong would be great:

- I copy the KSC file from the pendrive to internal disk
- I load the KSC file
- In Sampling mode l use the Convert to Program option
- l edit the program and write it.

And here l've tried two options with no result:

1) Save Sampling Data in disk mode and Save All: I get a new KSC file that I add to autoload ----> Turn off the keyboard, next restart the program shows the sign Samples Not Loaded

Help! These are the moment I hate Korg

You have to rename the samples and save it. Then you convert into a program, you're samples are not going to load if you do not rename and save the sample on a slot on kronos.
I just can rename MS. That's what you meant?

You have to rename the samples and save it. Then you convert into a program, you're samples are not going to load if you do not rename and save the sample on a slot on kronos.
Thanks! It's working now.
Onje more question: if my original KSC file was Sound. KSC and after rename it I make Save Sampliong Data as SoundRenamed.KSC...can I delete the Sound.KSC from internal disk?

Your SampleRobot Kronos edition normally creates one samples folder "YourSound" and a KSC file "YourSound.KSC".
The right procedure for next time is to load from USB thumb drive "YourSound.KSC" under "clear mode" , this will
also load all contained samples of folder in Kronos Ram.
Then create a folder in Kronos HD like MySounds , open folder , select SAVE screen Tab , from screen upper scroll
down menu select "Save Sampling Data" , choose any name like "YourSound" and save resources.
Then place created file "YourSound_user.KSC" in preload list that works only at streaming mode and work is done ...
PCG file is another "chapter" that you have to treat separately !

Hope this helps
