Kronos 2 and Cubase Elements external instrument (midi)

Hi all,
So im trying to set up my kronos 2 as an external vst. I think thats what I want to do. Id like to use midi tracks in cubase elements ( yes, elements, not the full version) to control the kronos' sounds on the keyboard. Now Ive found a nice tutorial on how to do it, but Im guessing elements doesnt support external vst's. Is there another way of doing this in cubase elements? I hope this makes sense...
