So I tried to load up another sty file from Create Song Styles - and now instead of the "Not a PA file" message, now I get " Device Generic Error" and this now affects trying to re-load even factory styles, which now show the same error message.

So I am going to have to reset all the styles again, and re-load the saved factory banks. This really is a pita I have to say. The PA4 is way WAY more "fussy" when it comes to loading styles than previous models.

The style btw was SUPPOSED to be a PA3x style so there should have been no issues.

I have got to say one should avoid create song styles if this is the result!

I am a little disappointed with your message. I do not know why this is happening to you only, as I was never informed by anyone else with this issue. My apologies for all the trouble you are having

Thanks Ron - yeah it is really weird....I mean I can get back to my setup okay,I am just surprised it happened.

Still does the same thing to me here. not to worry I'll figure it out eventually hahaha!

I have mixed feelings now, "Happy", that it doesn't reflect anything negative here at CSS but also "Not Happy", because of problems you are having at your end.

Please keep us in the loop as to what happens.

Look, it was probably the way I "wrapped" the single styles into a set

I've managed to resurrect XRM so if I try some more form the site I'll use it instead to create the .SET files.
