Had an outdoor gig this past Saturday. Very nice weather (Arizona) in the high 70's. That said, we played on a 4' high stage with no cover - 4pm start time. The touch screen was unreadable so I had to pray that my pre-programmed set list was aligned with the band and as I advance through it via pedal, was always saying a silent prayer before each segue. All went well but am wondering how you all combat sun glare? Almost resorted to a cardboard ghetto screen cover with some gaffers tape but thought better of it. Are there products out there for this or are we keyboard players left to our own creative devices?

I use a "cardboard ghetto screen cover."
Planning to make a nicer looking one with matte black cardboard and secure it with Velcro.

I just happened to see this item on eBay, which is used to shield satnavs from glare. There seem to be a few different sizes and shapes available on eBay - maybe you could adapt one to suit you.... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3X-Sun-Shade ... rk:12:pf:0
