76 key controller is the reason Jupiter 80 has been at the center of my studio for all these years. I know that board gets zero love here but JU80 is a like a great guitar, a wonderful keyboard. The sounds aren't too shabby either. Fantom G7 has the same keyboard but they both now command $$$ used.

This is from the Kronos LS 88 manual. What does this mean. It has Aftertouch, but? From the LS manula below.

"Lock can also be applied to aftertouch, by assigning SW1 or SW2 to After Touch Lock. (Note that the KRONOS2-88LS responds to aftertouch data from MIDI, but its keyboard does not generate aftertouch.) "

It means if you send external MIDI data to the LS (e.g. from sequencer or another keyboard) it WILL recognise aftertouch and react to it from that MIDI source and this can be locked on the LS if desired.

The LS keybed however has no aftertouch

Ty Now i get it, Not really an "Aftertouch" type of keyboardist. So I would be ok with the LS 88, switching out my Kronos 61 for the LS 88.

KRONOS 61, KRONOS 73

Yes you should be fine - I was wanting the LS too but sadly, I AM an "after-toucher"
