Problem installing Korg OS Update v301

Problem fixed ...... thanks to all who offered suggestions.
Special HUGE thanks to Karmerthanever (Pete) who spared no effort and even provided a perfect step by step installation list which I printed and ticked off each step as I worked through. It made it clear to me by a process of elimination that I either had a fault USB drive or a faulty USB port on my keyboard.
I raced across the road and bought a new Sandisk USB drive for $7.
I came home loaded the pkg to the new USB and voila! Problem fixed and v3.01 installed and working.

Pete , it's not accurate ! , this is valid only for major OS v.2 where also sound resources were included !
I've directly loaded OS v.3.0.1 from version 2.xx

maybe this might be the reason that I can replicate zero spoken issues since a month !!!
I strongly believe that bug of v.3.0.0 writes some code in system that can't be deleted / overwritten anymore by newer OS and might
be further investigated due to find out what causes issues to some users while others have none ...

Yes - thanks Antony - I did apologise somewhere in the forum.

I don't know why I thought that - anyhow thanks for confirming - I just had a senior moment I think
