Hello again it's me.
Trying to dig into my Kronos and stumped on a question the manual doesn't seem to answer. I've got a song in my sequencer I recorded using the Audio tracks. It's temp is at 46 and I want to speed it up to 47. When I adjust the tempo knob to 47 the song goes off key. When I select master track and do the same it goes off key. The manual notes how to do this with Midi but I haven't seen anything about Audio tracks. This is kind of driving me crazy unless it's something I'm missing.
I was hoping to record an instrument I wanted at 47 and then dropping the tempo to 46 to time stretch it.
Any tips on how to adjust the songs tempo for an audio track?

You can manually adjust tempo in every mode- in the upper right hand corner. I am guessing you have that.
in SEQ mode, for your song,
highlight your audio track or make sure you are in the audio section of the Song
go to the Track edit tab
Go to the upper right hand corner menu
Open it, you will see a few commands :
- adjust region tempo to song
- adjust song tempo to region
"region' is Korg speak to audio files
I believe you want the first choice.
My experience with this ' time stretch ' is that the quality is not very useful.
You might still have a decent result with your audio file

Nah that ain't working for some reason it offests one of the tracks even on the same tempo.
Man I really want to like this keyboard but it's just a huge creative hindrance for me. When trying to get it to do simple things that aren't a problem on other gear pieces the Kronos never seems like it can. At least not without having you go over the river and through the woods. This would take me probably 30seconds to do in software or even on an old sampler seq. but on this keyboard for some reason it's quite a tasks.
The sequencer is very midi oriented but the audio track editing portion of it seems like it was an afterthought.

I hear you. I am sinking further and further into audio tracks, and its tedious to get it sync'd up on Kronos SEQ.
The midi instrumental tracks work well for me, as I have recorded +80 songs on my Soundcloud. I can complete instrumentals in 3-5 days without setbacks, delays, etc etc
But once I combine audio [[ vocals ]] with my midi instrumentation, my project time doubles , 2 weeks or longer.
A DAW is a complete solution . I expect it to reduce my music production time , once I get thru setup/learning curve. Due to my poor eyesight, I will likely need a quality 27" monitor.

Thanks for your help. I wish you luck going to DAW that seems to be the solution. I'd love to travel that route if I ever get the $$$. The Kronos is an amazing keyboard and the midi integration on the sequencer is far beyond what I could have dreamed on my Triton days but I have a feeling that I'm going to have to approach recording with Audio on it from a very different direction that on most gear.
