Hi
Finally I can ask someone with a 88 PA5X some questions.....
Are you happy with the key feel ?
Do you plan to use a Tablet (iPad) to connect to the keyboard?
If so, which software do you plan to use ?
After a couple weeks with the keyboard, any doubts ?
I am on a Macbook so the ipad connection is of some interest !
Thanks
Ron

Hi Ron,
I am happy with the key feel. I have a Yamaha p121 piano, key feel is way better on Korg. Also have an Kawai es920 piano, would be happy with either Korg or Kawai as far as feel goes.
I’m not very good at playing piano , but I do like fully weighted keys. I came to using keyboards from a piano background , not an organ background.
I’ve only had it for about 5 days. Don’t have any regrets. Haven’t come across any bugs yet, but at this stage, I’m not delving too deeply. Bugs would frustrate me, so haven’t tried editing styles yet.
Operating system does seem to differ from what I remember on Pa4x ( been 3 years) but I think I’m going to like it.
The dual style player is amazing. Going to have a lot of fun with that eventually.
Have imported/loaded my old style library. Didn’t actually expect them to work as quite a few go back to Pa1x. Fortunately I had saved them as PA4X ..sets . Only a dozen or so didn’t import, might have been a bad save in the first place, I’m going to check my other usb just in case.
No, hadn’t been planning to connect my iPad to the keyboard. Actually haven’t even checked into it. Not something I was aware of.
I am SLOWLY importing my sheet music into Songbook plus. Quite happy with it on my iPad.

Hi Ron,
I've had my Nautilus88 for a several months and absolutely love it. Great keyboard feel (RH3) which has been used on so many Korg pianos (I had a Korg SP250 many years ago and that also had the RH3 action). Previously had a Roland RD2000.
Probably my only issue with the Nautilus is the huge learning curve involved. I am heading towards 70 and have always had arrangers, so the jump to a workstation is big (it is for me anyway). The way I get around this is to move away from trying to learn stuff, select some of the stunning Combinations and just play. I don't think I have ever heard strings like this on a keyboard before. The Italian piano is as good as any piano I've had on a keyboard before.
Can I suggest you have a listen to some of the dozens of Youtube videos on the Nautilus. You cannot fail to be impressed. There are some weaknesses (like any keyboard), but I'm told that is down to the hardware in the Nautilus. Acoustic guitars are not the best, but there are few good ones in the Korg Store (sales now on).
I have numerous VST's, Keyscape, Ravenscroft, Kontakt but have yet to use my Windows laptop with the Nautilus. It will happen eventually. I also have an Ipad Air 3 with Ravenscroft275 loaded so will update you on using that.
Finally I would suggest getting a good quality keyboard stand (not a X one), and to make sure you fully benefit from the great sounds make sure you have good speakers/headphones. I have Adams T8V active monitors and I'm still going to add a sub.
Chris
p.s. I'm not sure why, but the Nautilus has had a lukewarm reception. Kronos owners don't like it because of the lack of physical controllers and the near identical sound engines. Many people expected more (viewing it as a poor Kronos replacement). As a result, you can get one heck of a keyboard for a very decent price (nearly half the price of a new PA5X).
