Hello All

I ordered my pa5x in July 22, at first i was told i would have it in a month. Obviously didn't happen. I was later told I would have it March 25.
No I'm being told June/July 2023.

Korg your entire pa5x project from hardware, to availability to software has been a total disaster so far. I am truly looking for an alternative.

Wow, a year for delivery. That really is a long wait. Delivery took me a while as well but I am totally enjoying my new keyboard. The transformation from Pa3Xle to the Pa5X is massive! Both in hardware and software processes. And some new software updates in the future as well to look forward to. 8)

here in switzerland my Pa5x (ordered on july2022) nine long months ago still did not arrive. they have no plan and no idea - just frustrated dealers and customers. i have asked five dealers and the general importer of korg.
at january they announced that the keyboards from feb 23 will be regular on stock. but not one single instrument is here since june22.
i am not sure if you all are korg VIP persons with special connections.
also not sure if korg produce or closed. or pa is pushed in background and no more interesting for them to sell.
or they produce only one pa per month for the whole world market.
imdon‘t know …

Every manufacture across every sector is having supply issues due to the chip shortage and this will continue to the end of 2023. That’s what every forecast predicts due to Covid.

To bad, so sad. It’s just the way it is.

I’ve been trying to buy some circuit boards for personal projects for months can even get simple things like a RaspberryPi4 from any major supplier. Nobody has stock.

this is not chip delivery problem, other electronic devices have no problems.
i am ordering hundreds of notebooks, monitors, network devices and many more for my company where i work. noone of the manufacturers have big problems anymore. and if, they have plans and they communicate delivery dates.
korg does nothing of all.
they have long waiting lists here and do nothing. no plan, no communication, nothing. if they produce some it may take five years to deliver my pa??

That's simply not true. I’m not even sure why you think that at all. You only need to Google it to see it’s still a massive problem across every industry and that it’s estimated things won’t return back to normal to at least the end of 2023.

Even KORG’s current workstation the Nautilus is flagged as 14 to 18 weeks of a delay on Thomann.

maybe that korg is in this problems. others are not.
but why do they / dealers /korg representators since 10 months always tell us "next month it will arrive" ... next month they say next month ...
every production has plans. they sure can plan new and say if it will not come in 2023 or not in 2024 then it is ok if we know.
the "only" frustrating in this that we day to day hope it arrives and nothing happens. month for month waiting without notice .. no communication. no informations from korg to their dealers. no informations to customers.
so korg: say the real facts please. will i get my instrument in 2023?

you will ever find reasons for everything in the net (don‘t take it bad, please) …
but no company is existing without having plans. if problems are coming they will correct their plans … i am sure they have plans.

but there is no reason, not to communicate this with their vendors and customers. still „no comment“ to anything.

i have found out that korg is a small company with about 200 employeers. maybe they produce only 5 or 10 keyboards per month and ship them to random countries all over the world. and the distributors there have to dispach them to the vendors. so noone can say when and where they ship and witch vendor will get one next. and vendors have long waiting lists here. customers have paid for coming onto the list at the shops.

but if they don‘t sell, no money comes in. one whole year later they don‘t do anything to make this situation better. still no comments from korg …
they are loosing good minded customers …

in the same time they launch new pianos on the website and new items ….
it is all very strange to me

I bought a Pa5X 61 in the Czech Republic in December, it was the last piece. Then it wasn't available for some time, but now it's back on offer in Czech stores.
