Same here - Blogasys can't be visited right now. In addition I believe Peter is quite busy right now. I'm sure he'll leave a message here asap.

That's a real shame, it was something special. I must have missed something when I was away earlier in the month.
It would be great to see it back, if that were possible/convenient.

I'd personally like to thank Peter for all his clearly significant efforts in producing the oasys blog. I, like many others, found it extremely informative and professional in quality. It also added a whole new dimension to this intriguing OASYS user community, which no doubt has a finite time span - at least at the vibrant level of activity we all now enjoy. At the moment I find it fascinating to be part of a community that's experiencing, living through and even in part contributing to the development of a superlative and unique musical instrument whose character change and improves over time. Peter's blog was, in my view, another excellent way of revealing more in-depth views of current OASYS users, and I for one found it extremely enjoyable and insightful.
It'd be great if Peter brings the blog back, but if not, then I'd like to say thanks!
Cheers,
Kevin.

First thanks to all of you, for the nice feedback and words. Also to those two or three e-mails I received offline.
I am glad when you enjoyed reading and found interesting informations about the musicians and their music. Hopefully there was also some useful information concerning OASYS.
I try to avoid to sound to dramatic

, but want to use this opportunity as I owe it most of all to the interview partners and of course the readers. THANK YOU !!!
The reason for putting the blog offline was that I was missing at least a little bit of support from Korg. To avoid any misunderstanding - I was never asking for monetary support. Just one or two things that would have made it more easy to improve the blog.

ps: where did Daz's posting go concerning the "ostrich / Ă–sterreicher" - I was really laughing a lot

That's a pity and I suspect you asked Korg Germany ...
Concerning your PS: isn't that a large bird?!?

Hi Peter,
I really hope this can be resolved. Reading the interviews was so informative as well as personal. Your blog is/was certainly something that enhances the OASYS community experience. Good luck.
Cheers,
Eric

Yes, it is a sad thing the BLOG has closed. It was a beautiful approach and resource for the OASYS lovers. For me they were the big 3, KARMA LAB, KORG FORUM and BLOGASYS.
Hope things work out between Korg and Peter
You did a hell of a good job.

I'm not sure that I understand. The blog page was already beautiful. Why did you need Korg for anything? I'm definitely disappointed that it is gone. Maybe, it can make a comeback.

Same question here. I'm puzzled.
* You already had it going.
* You managed to get some good content on it.
* Blogging space is free.
* You already have an Oasys.
What did you need Korg for?
At least put it back online and allow interested users to post their comments. Now, I'm assuming this is not costing you anything beside your time
Regardless of what you choose to do, thank you for the effort.

Wrong assumption

, but THAT is not the point.
The content of a product related blog like that of course needs some informations from the producer. The blog was thought of resource for OASYS owners to share informations, tricks, hints, etc. but also for those who are thinking of purchasing one. There was more planed then went online and some things have already been in the works. As this maybe does not sound concrete enough I would like to mention the "saw comparison" and the "string" thing as a hint in that direction.
What do you think, wouldn´t an interview with one of the developers/R&D be interesting? Or a sound programmer? Or what do you think about an interview with one of the endorsers? etc. etc.
best regards
peter

That would definitely be interesting and I can imagine now what you ment by being not supported by Korg.
Anyway, is there a chance that the content already generated will come back online - perhaps not as a blog but as a section on your regular HP? I believe that this would be interesting for many people using this forum or thinking about getting an Oasys.

As I've told Peter via email, I am happy to do an interview with him whenever he wishes.
