By now you have heard about the exciting new 1.3 OS for the OASYS, featuring KARMA 2.1
and the new MOD-7 Waveshaping VPM Synth (FM synthesis and more). As my little
contribution to the excitement, here you go:

The OASYS Online Virtual GUI has been updated to show the new 1.3 OS,
along with the new MOD-7 VPM Synth engine, and all the programs it comes with. Click here:

OASYS Virtual GUI 1.3 with MOD-7 and KARMA 2.1

You can now play with the full set of editing screens for all 7 synth engines presently available
for the OASYS:

1. HD-1 High Definition Synth
2. AL-1 Analog Synthesizer
3. CX-3 Tonewheel Organ
4. STR-1 Plucked String
5. MS-20EX Legacy Synth
6. PolysixEX Legacy Synth
7. MOD-7 Waveshaping VPM Synth . . . . new!

Once the Flash application has finished loading, click on the Program Mode button, and you
will find the MOD-7 VPM Synth preselected for your browsing enjoyment. You can select any
combination of the 6 available EXi synths from two popup menus, mixing and matching them,
simulating the way they can be combined in any arrangement - just like in the OASYS.
As usual, clickable areas turn red when you hover the mouse over them, and you can
click on the graphics of the new models on the main page to instantly go to the correct pages,
just like in the OASYS.

You will find that the full patch list of the 128 new MOD-7 Programs can be found in the Program
Bank Select dialogs in Bank U-C (click the round triangle button next to the program name in Program
Mode), and the Category Select dialogs as well.

Everyone at Korg and Karma-Lab is very excited about this new release, and we're sure you'll enjoy it.
And the 128 MOD-7 programs have been KARMA-fied by the Korg voicing team, of course, and you'll
enjoy that as well.

Complete info on the upgrade and availability (October 1, 2007) can be found at Korg USA and Karma-Lab:
