Hi people,

can I ask how many of you have already try to import AKAI samples and program on M3?

Is it an easy operation?
Did you have any problem to convert AKAI to Korg prg?

can you show me how to proceed? just few steps

I'm assuming you are talking about from an Akai CDRom?

If so, I can help you there:

Have a compatable CDrom drive (there is a list floating around of which ones work)

I just click on the MEDIA button.. On the Media screen, there is the Load tab.
right above the Load tab is the drives list. Make sure you are on the correct drive.
The M3 will then list your partitions.
Select the desired partition and click on the OPEN button, then it lists your folders.
You can possibly load an entire folder Or hit the open button again to get to preset level and open the individual presets.

Note.. when I load some drum kits, the whole kit doesn't load on one program, it uses multiple programs and creates a combi for the entire kit.
Other than that, the Akai programs seem to convert fine.

Hi! My name is Anthony, I don't have a CD ROM connected to my Keyboard. I have Roland & Akai samples, I know that M3 can read Akai S1000/3000 format. Which software should I use to covert my samples to the Akai S1000/3000 format? thanks in advance
