I received the two-CD EXs3 package from KorgUSA on Monday 12/10. A couple of weeks ago I downloaded the files, burned them to CD and installed the Exs3 update without any problems. I purchased the authorization code and everything has been working well except for a couple of freezes I’m not able to recreate. So my question is, now that I have the CD’s in hand, is it advantageous or even possible to overwrite the downloaded files with those on the CDs – in other words do the Exs3 install again from the CD’s? My thinking is that there could possibly be some corruption via downloading that would not happen on CD. Jerry, perhaps you have an answer for me.

It's unlikely that this is required, but it's even less likely to cause any problems by reinstalling EXs3, so feel free to go ahead and try it if you think it might be needed.

We're well aware that it's downloadable, but as you may have read, it is not a small load and thus is more error-prone, especially for those of us in the outback of Internet infrastructure.

I realise that it might not be the ideal solution...
There are a lot of users worldwide so it does take a little time to get the disks to everyone.

Got it!

December 17th. Since we're in the outback puckerbrush, it takes a bit longer for the post.
Thanks, Korg
