oasys midi local off kills controllers?..

Hi all,
What do I need to do to make the controllers on my Oasys respond when I'm in MIDI LOCAL OFF mode?..
Did I miss something very obvious?..

When Local Control is Off something in your setup must echo MIDI sysex back to the Oasys, for the control surface to work. Most DAW's will do this, excepting Ableton Live.
