Opinions on KARO Philharmonic strings?

I've done searches and haven't come up with any "reviews" on the KPS, but have heard positive things in various posts.
In one of those posts, Mike Conway indicated that he liked some of the Korg strings like Pizzacato and large groups, but he liked spiccato and solo instruments from KARO better, etc..
Would those who own them please let me have your opinion?
Thanks,
Ken

A great library really. Quality of the samples is really good. No regret about that. Just a bit expensive if compared with KORG EX3, but both are very different companies and cost structure should be also very different.

I own all of the KARO libraries and i can strongly recommend all of them ... if you are ready to spend that amount of cash. But then again, if you could afford an OASYS in the first place, a compareable higher price for the libraries should be no shocking news for you.

I prefer the Karo-stringsounds over the factory-stringsounds. In general they seem less "wired" to me - that is, they sound more "natural". I enjoy the various chelli a lot and adding several synthesizer strings was a great idea (like mellotron, oberheim etc.). Compared to the Granular Athmospheres and Movie Collection the Phil Strings are the most "practical" sound-collection. You can use this library for all different kind of productions needing string-sounds. KGA and KMC are more "experimental" and less generic regarding their use. However, if you like/need such sounds too I can recommend Karo again.

Karo Is the goal

I have really been very many strings heard vst and sample libraries, but

Thank you all for taking the time to respond.
It seems unanimous in acclaim that Karo strings are the ones to get.
Thanks to all.

Hi Kurt, I can't find any info on your site about the new update KPS 3.2 and the KARO Strings&Brass. Is it a free update, if not, what does it cost?
