Split keyboard Query.

Post by cjp_24 »

Hi folks, yet another question. (good job I dont get charged per question here, :P )

I can split my keyboard, thats fine. I have learnt how to do that and I am happy in the way that you can span many programs from a combi over a range of keys on the keyboard to make the split.

Now, what I want to do it use the Triton so that I can play melody on the top split and do chords on the bottom split but for me to do this, I need to increase the octave by one on the bottom split so that the note are not played too low. Is there a global way of doing this or do I have to set every program in the combi played at the bottom split to an octave above using the slidey bar setting on the display panel. (if you get my meaning).

Many Thanks.

You can use Transpose in the Global settings but that affects everything.

Best thing to do is go into Combi P2 Edit trk parameter then select Pitch tab then set for each sound. +12/-12 will go up/down 1 octave and +24/-24 will go up/down 2 octaves.

By far the best option in my opinion.
