Hi Arash,
You might me more specific.
When you load a complete SET, WITH global, the global settings are loaded.
For example global velocity curve, audio output and so on.
When you load a SET that just contains user styles, default settings should not change.
A full SET can contain: GLOBAL_MULTISMP_PAD_PCM_SONGBOOK_PERFORM_SOUND_STYLE
but it is also possible do delete some folders.
Best regards,
René

I have had my issues with loading customized sets to my Pa800 in the past. This is what I have learned from my mistakes:
1- If we are loading a customized made set, and this set was made on other Pa's and not on Pa800 or Pa2x, we must change the name of PROGRAM folder to SOUND folder. Also make sure to delete the GLOBAL folder. We should be able to load the set now or we could load one folder at a time.
2- If we have a set that was made on Pa800 or Pa2x and contains: GLOBAL,PAD,PCM,SOUND,SONGBOOK,PERFORMANCE and STYLE folders. Everything on our Pa800 will be replaced if the set is loaded as whole and not folder by folder.
This is just a hint and hope it help a little.

Fahim,

Yes Rene: THX, Let's just mention that this is a new problem developed after my Pa800 recent major lock up and half-ass repair by two different repair centers. I did not have this problem B4. U R right, a set comprises several components. I deleted the songbook and the global from the set B4 loading. I also checked the boxes for global, factory styles and sound protect through Media>Preferences. This should theoretically protect the pa800 factory settings and must be retained no matter what. Ironically, once I load a set, the default setting are not changed but if turn the KB off and then on again, that is where the default setting changes to one of the styles and sounds from the set. I hope I was clear.

Just wondered whether the default (startup) factory Style and Performance are being modified through some strange process? You could try reloading MR 1.5 then restart your keyboard. Does this restore normal factory sound and style on startup or not?
Best regards,
