latch key?

is there a way to permanently turn off the latch function on the oasys ??? when i power it on or hit a key in combination??

I don't believe so. However, you can either disable KARMA globally, or turn off either KARMA or LATCH for any given Program or Combi, and then save the edited Program or Combi.
