"Latch" filter change via ribbon

Sorry for the title, it may not explain much. I notice some patches, when Korg assigned the ribbon to modulate filter cutoff, the filter remains wherever my finger last was.

When i set one recently, I can play it just the way i want it, but as soon as I take my finger off the ribbon, it goes back to its original setting. How do i set it up to stay where i left it?

You can assign a switch to lock the ribbon.

Oh okay, thanks, I see now. But tell me, the ribbon controller is momentary unless you do that?

There's no way to set up the patch so it defaults to locked? Thanks again.
