Midi file playing in S.PLAY mode.

Hi, heres a quick query, im sure that most budding Extreme users would be able to help.
If have opened up a MIDI file on my PC and deleted the tracks that I dont want (melody etc). Resaved the MIDI file to the CF card (root dir) and with S.PLAY I can play the MIDI and I am amazed at the output of MIDI file though the Korg Triton. They drums are excellant. The MIDI file has 4 tracks which occupy the 1st 4 tracks in the S.PLAY mode.
What I want to do is whilst the MIDI is playing, with a combi occupying tracks 9-16, be able to play along with the MIDI file but without tracks 1-4 (midi tracks) sounding too just the COMBI (tracks 9-16). At the moment, I am playing the MIDI file and saving it as an MP3 file. Then with the the MP3 playing in the background, playing with it. This way works but is not ideal.
I hope I explained this right.
Thanks
Cliff
