followed korg analog edition 2007 installation procedure but netuser site recognised product code but did not provide security code or even email after waiting around 3 hours. wheni tried to get a re-issue the product dropdown menu is inactive. korg solution " call korg distributor ". any other potential solutions.
am i the only one who is sick to death of the lack of any phone or even email support from large companies whose shareholders main concerns seem to be how much money they can save at our inconvenience.
raking through forums and faqs seems to be the only option these days.

any help greatly appreciated

The KLC-AE2007 uses a Syncrosoft USB eLicenser (dongle).

The product license is phyiscally stored on the dongle itself as opposed to the old method. The 'Re-issue License Code' option is for the old Challenge/Response system.

When you buy the KLC-AE2007 you do receive an "Activation Code", but you enter that code into the Syncrosoft License Control Center (LCC) application, specifically the "Wizards", "License Download" menus.

Did you install the Syncrosoft License Control Center application?

Do you have a Syncrosoft USB dongle on which to load the physical license?

Regarding support, your Korg Country Distributor IS THE MAIN SUPPORT group that handles support for ANY Korg product (hardware or software):
http://www.korg.co.jp/English/Distributors/index.html

You CAN get phone support through your Distributor.

For example if you live in the U.S. you would contact Korg USA Product Support:
http://www.korg.com/service/contactus.asp

I don't think they are open on the weekend.

I am so shocked that Korg wouldn't address this ongoing problem with their copy protection by finding a new method.

There really isn't any "ongoing problem" with the Syncrosoft USB eLicenser method of protection.

Some users get confused since Korg changed protection methods mid-stream. In this thread for example, the poster is trying to authorize the most current software (that uses the Syncrosoft dongle) using methods that relate to the original software (challenge/response).
