deleting movement of the volume slider on a track

Post by pigpen »

I think I am being dumb. I record a midi track on the sequencer, I record volume changes. I then change my mind, how do I delete the volume changes but not the note events?

If you haven't done anything inbetween just press "Compare" and you're back to the previous version. If you have done something in between you'll have to erase the cc-commands (eg. via midi-event-edit and the according filter - eg. for not showing any notes - just cc's). Hope this helps! ;-)

On the TRACK EDIT page select the track you need to fix.

Select the dropdown menu.

Select ERASE MEASURE

Under KIND, select EXCLUSIVE or CONTROL CHANGE.

One of those should do it.

Just one more suggestion: if you have a spare Midi-Track, you can record your fader-movements in this one as well. I like doing that to keep things separate.
Furthermore: if you know the fader-position you want a track to "jump" to here's the solution: http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/ ... highlight=
