it's a pity that those tracks are so lo-fi, I still have to hear a high quality use of the workstation, expecially guitars and acoustic instrument..

Good Job Sina. Your songs sound good. Hope to follow and have a song up in the next two weeks or so. Just so busy going to classes and doing homework. Again good job!

I FINALLY got some tracks up! = response

Sina172,

I started with my tiny 2" speaker on the Mac = stop.

Then I hooked up my mixer via Firewire to the Crown amps to the Carvin speaker stacks = OK!

Then I started the Fireworks screen saver to set the mood and... it sounded pretty good. MySpace does break down the sound range a bit, but I could tell what you were shooting for. The rap song didn't do anything for me, but I only like a few rap songs, hate most rap songs and own no rap songs.

 Now lets do some streching; mind and budget.

Go to iTunes and listen to:

Lourds (LOURDS) ...then buy it = the whole album. Excellent music construct (with vocals) from your generation. The girl is mine, but you are allowed to dream.

Jeff Beck (You Had It Coming) = the whole album. Excellent music construct from my generation. One of the few artists that has both survived and grown with changing times and tech.

Now you've spent enough money... the next one is free!

iTunes Radio has "Aural Moon" = a station that plays long tracks that reflect what you are doing; Long Deep Instrumentals. Tune in and then turn on the iTunes visualizer. Buzz Buzz Buzz = hours of the best music on Earth.

This should keep you busy when the "O" isn't.

ymmv

Interesting tracks that somehow paint a different picture of you when I compare your postings and the way you post to the style of your music

In "deep love" personally I find the snare much to dominating, which is maybe due to the long and bright reverb. But as usual this is most likely a matter of taste.

Yeah, I love my snares to be wet and heavy. I've modified MOST of the drum maps in the OASYS (and the Triton) to have that. That track in particular combines 2 heavy snares with a LOT of reverb. If you listen to the RAW WAV file, you'd find that the exact opposite of what you said above is true

what I meant was "way to dominating" and concerning the wav file, I doubt it

I agree, as there is some gentle, heartfelt music coming out of your soul. Keep it up!

I also read "About Sina" and it's funny to see you refer to the Korg ad. Those words were truly how I felt. I thought I wouldn't be able to buy it, so I started looking around to see what I could put on Ebay. :D
