Oasys still on EXT clock even if RME FF 800 is OFF ?

Post by mozartella »

Yes,
Daz thanks for the help on the FF800, and you were true, sad, but we can't have an optical and coaxial SPDIF running at the same time...

My Oasys, now, is in perfect Sync with the RME FF800 and tha audio card is on Master,,,nice and fine, but, but, I have a question...

My computer is not ON, and I use alone my Oasys, but, tell me why now, Oasys, even if it is on INTERNAL clock, why on hearth, the Clock of the Oasys is still onEXT ?

I am clueless...Do we need each time to take out the optical cable from the Oasys, or? do I miss some extra setting on the Oasys?

thanks a lot...

Also, sorry to be dumb, but what is a Submix, from the Totalmix ?

Can you be more specific? For instance, on Global P0: Basic Setup, what is the System Clock setting? Note that this is completely different from the MIDI Clock setting.

Ok, Dan, sorry to be late, but, I think I found out my mistake...

when using the Stephen software Karma, we must put the MIDI clock to I think automatique, and not Internal...I did saved it, into my Global file, and of course, each time when I fire the Oasys, it goes to automatique mode, but, this is fine, but, from Global, even if I switched to Internal, the Oasys would not go back ot Internal clock, that I did not understand, we have to take out the actual settinf from Global and save again the file with the internal clock checked.....

thanks you for your help
