Hello everybody
is there a way to transfer WAV files on an external USB drive ?
so far I could only burn CD's which makes my CD consumption a bit too high...
Looking for your answers !

Yes - you either copy/paste them via disk/utility menu or you specify the wav-location already befor you record (Oasys asks you for the place where to save the wav - just choose which HDD you wish). Hope this helped!

Hi,

I wrestled with this same problem; how to transfer files to a USB thumb drive. There seems to be no good way to transfer just the wav files from a mix over to another drive. But I found that, with the song saved to the hard drive I was able to do a "save all". It took a little while but somewhere in all the .sng and .seq nonsense there appeared the wav files for each channel. I then just deleted the rest of the mess and kept the wav files to transfer to the computer. This is the best way I've found since there seems to be no way to write just the wav files alone.

Cheers,

Howard

Yep, I use it regularly. Did you not try the Copy function?

I was attempting to follow the instruction manual and use save. When you write to a disk save makes sense to me but it seemed the Oasys only saves certain specific things. I tried copy also but it didn't seem to do anything and I couldn't figure out how to use it. It's weird going back and forth between those menus. I'm used to a drag and drop interface on a computer and this seemed quite arcane to me. Then I saw something over on the karma-lab forum about someone using the copy all function. I tried it and it worked so I made that suggestion. I will give the copy function a go and see if it will do the deed for me.

Regards,

Howard
