Sliders and latching

Is there a mode where, when you switch to a program and the LEDs associated with a slider do not match, moving the slider does NOTHING until you reach the position indicated by the LEDs at which point the slider will become effective?

Without this, one has to deal with painful glitches if you want to just make a slight adjustment to the volume of a sound in a combi while you're playing.
