Haven't played with it much, yet, but it seems like a fun little box. I needed a cheap/light rig for jamming with friends, so... I got the MicroX & a 76-key controller (total cost: $750 all in), & that should do the job.

The opposite of an Oasys
I bought a Korg MicroX today. I feel like slapping a sticker on it that says "My other synth is an Oasys".

Exactly! I really get annoyed with 5-octave keyboards, I wish 76 keys was more standard since that's what's optimal for me.
On the other hand, 2-octave keyboards are fun! I'm really enjoying the MicroX. The sounds and effects are great, considering the price, and it's fun to put on a combi and see much I can do with just the two octaves & the knobs. The programs have been very well designed, too.
I'm super-satisfied with the MicroX, except for the piano sounds. They're not horrible, they're about borderline acceptable... I wish that they were just a bit better (funny to go from playing the Oasys EXs2 to that!). I know that's one area where the X50 beats the MicroX (their sample libraries are apparently slightly different).
But anway, as I said, I think a MicroX & controller is a great setup, as a portable rig for jamming & casual gigs!
