Hi Craig -

I'm in Dublin and purchase all of my equipment on-line or over the phone from Turnkey in london. I got my OASYS from them. The Euro-Sterling conversion is excellend right now, so you will do very well indeed. Don't go with Thomann because they are in the euro-zone so you will not gain form the conversion rate. The only issue with purchasing afar is that if something goes wrong, returning your instrument for repair is expensive, but the OASYS is incredibly stable so this shoudl not be an issue anytime soon.

Also be very careful if buying from ebay especially Korg OASYS as there have been alot of scam listings for the OASYS, and other high end gear. But having said that there are good deals to be had, and if you do see one, get lots more photos sent to you that you can look through and you can generally see if they are legit or not. Also get a land line number from the seller if possible...not mob no only, and also an address if possible so you can verify it. Also try to get the serial number and where they bought it from so you can call the company and check. If all those tally up then chances are it is a legit deal and an honest seller will generally not try to hide any info. But do check. I once had someone send me a legit address and phone number and after checking on the net on BT phone listing his surname and address were correct with the phone number, but when I called, the woman who lived there said there was no Colin that lived there. So even what looked like an honest seller ended up being a SCUMBAG THIEF. But luckily my research payed off that time. Hope that helps. :)

Just be aware that you will incur a hefty price to ship.

Absolutely.

The OASYS 88 box is 68" x 27" x 13", weight 97.6 pounds.

If you enter these into a shipping calculator you will see how expensive shipping is.

Also make sure and add in any import tariffs and duties.

I am not aware of any U.S. retailer that would be willing to ship an OASYS from the U.S..
