I have a few questions regarding keyboard use in a few Faith No More songs. There is no FNM forum, so this is the best place to ask. Also there is bound to be some FNM fans on here who have used a triton extreme!

The Real Thing - What is the sound used? On tabs it says it is an organ reed but it doesn't quite sound like one!

Midlife Crisis - What are the sound effects used in the middle bit? (The part that just has drums and keyboard sound effects). One sounds like a man saying "hey" (although I can't find a match when looking through sound files online) and the other sounds like some quirky sounds. I"m interested in downloading these sounds and loading them onto my sampler.

Caffiene - What synth sound is used in the middle bit, the bit that has a bassline with drums and keyboards. It sounds like a type of synth pad but I can't pick it!

As much as I'm sure we'd all like to help you:

a) Not all of us will (legally) own a copy of the album/songs in question.

b) You're not going to get any responses. I've tried before once.

c) Most of us don't have the time to evaluate these sounds in detail. If you're in the industry, I'm sure you can understand. A link to a youtube stream of the song(s) would be most helpful.

d) The best way to find out what sounds are used is to browse your Triton Extreme's (though this post has absolutely no relation to that unit) categories. A nasty saw lead would obviously be under the Leads category.

e) Anyone can make a tab of any music. Don't trust these to be 100% accurate unless they came from the artist themself/themselves.
