Add insert effect before output 1
Hi. I have a patch in combination mode where i've set two voices to go to an alternate output, output 1. The rest go to standard L&R. They're dry though; I would like to add reverb. I'm sure there's a way to do this, but haven't been able to discover how. I tried just setting a reverb insert effect to Bus 1... but that didn't get the audio into the reverb before going to output 1. Thanks in advance for any help.
Easy enough:
In Combi mode go to P8
On the Routing Tab, route the instrument to an empty IFX
On the IFX Tab, choose the IFX (reverb in your case) and to the right of that you will see Bus Select (It's default is set to L/R).
Touch that and choose 1
That's it!!
If you choose 3(Tube), 4(Tube) or 3/4 (Tube) you can add valve force effects (particularly nice for drums and bass for that warm feel). Difference here is, after you route that, you have to go to MFX (P9) and choose the Valve Force settings. Here you need to play around until you get what you want. There is a placement called Final or Bus (3/4). If you use Bus 3/4 an additional routing will appear for L/R or for IFX.
All of these routing to individual outs apply in Combi, Prog, Seq, Sampling and S.Play Modes!!

Thanks so much RVNoak. This worked! My only other question... I now have two "separate" outputs... but my volume control seems to only affect the patches set to output L&R. Is there a way to set the patches outputting to Bus 2 to be affected by volume changes also, either master or pedal? Thanks again!!
Master volume will only control output level on L/R outputs and headphones out.
As far as I know there is no way to directly control the level of outputs 1/2 internally.
I would suggest connecting all the outputs you want to use to an external mixer or use the software mixer of your audio interface/DAW to set the proper levels.
For a workaround you can of course still adjust the volume for every track in the TE's internal mixer that is routed to the individual outs if the solutions above are not applicable in your setup. hope this helps.
