Damper failure

I have an odd circumstance...

My damper input seems to be failing, yet when I last tried it with one of the little black switch/damper pedals (the cheap box-like ones), it worked fine. When I tried it with a new fatar damper pedal, it didn't work at all. I've altered damper polarity on both the workstation and the pedal.

Any advice? Is this a service shop visit (note..2 weeks wait +)? Does anyone know where I can find a service manual or schematic?

If damper works with this cheap pedal of yours, than it isn't broken in any way. If it were broken, it wouldn't work with any pedal, don't you think? Seems to me this new fatar pedal is broken, no matter it's new. I guess your best option would be to try that fatar pedal on someone's other workstation, this way you'll be sure is it pedal that's faulty.

As for schematic, if you need Triton's schematic, I recalled one thread where it was mentioned (you participated in that thread too). Well, doesn't matter, here is short version and link:

Korg Service Manual for the Triton Extreme:
It comes on a CD in PDF format. Service info, block diagrams, specifications, circuit diagrams, parts list, trouble shooting tips, and much more is included on the disk.

Price: $15.00

Damper jack is broken.

Tried it myself. Input is loose on physical board, so I will be taking it in to a place to get an estimate, or doing it myself.

How many Yen is this gonna freakin' cost me? Ugh.. probably like...500

By the way, I searched for that thread you talked about and I couldn't find it.
