Hi from UK based bass player (and D1200ii owner)

Hi folks

Just thought I'd say 'hi' and introduce myself. I'm Stu (onehappybunny), and I play bass in a covers band and an original indie/rock/folk band in the UK, for fun rather than cash or glory!

I bought a Korg D1200ii a few years ago, and have occasionally stumbled over here for words of wisdom. Unfortunately being a thick bass player (cue drummer style jokes  ) I don't think I've got the best out of it so it will find itself on the 'for sale' section (sob, sob!).

Cheers

Stu

Hi Stu

Welcome to KF

As yet, I have never met a "thick" bass player (we rhythm section guys gotta stick together  ).

I play drums and have since become a musician with my Korg PA1XPro and Karma.

Have fun

Cheers

Hi Stu,
Welcome to the forums.
Do you plan to replace your 1200, or just forget about it all together?
Some of my favorite people are bass players, and none of them are thick!
:D

Thanks for the welcome Stephen and Pete :D

Please ignore the usual self-deprecating bass player comments... I'm only slightly dense when it comes to techie stuff

Cheers

Welcome!! Sorry, I'm late...

...Bass players are the best and we need to stick together. What's the world without bass anyway??
We came.
We saw.
We decided to conquer another day...
