I would do some research on that unit. It seems to have what I was talking about and I did look at Edirol myself a few years ago. In the end, I wanted something I could put in a rack. Look at the different music companies on line and read the reviews. Look at the specs and compare them to other similar priced units.
I would be wrong to say I think you should get it and then you have bad luck with it. However, I would definately say that this unit you linked is a superior upgrade from the Behringer unit!!! The only show stopper for me is that it is USB and doesn't have firewire. I must have firewire as it is faster and you experience less latency issues.
