I got it and I like it. Tons of sampled effects and voices, nice pads and solo synths, powerful drumsounds and so on.
I'm pretty sure one can make dance-music without it on the Oasys - just listen to the techno-demo that came with the original OS. But you will miss all these effect-sounds/voices. Quality is like always Karo-like good. For me it was worth the money.
As for vocoding: I rarely used the Oasys-vocoder effect - just played around with it. But as far as I know you can use this effect with any sound you choose to. So it should be possible to use it for the Karo-sounds as well.
PS: Be aware you get a program-collection = there are no combis. The focus is on a library for producing dance-music.

Love it ! Use it !
Yeah, this is an excellent selection of dance-suitable sounds. Since i installed this package on my OASYS a little while ago, I use these sounds all the time on my "funky music" productions.
As usual, the KARO guys topped themselves again. I don't care too much about the fact that there's just programmes and no combis. For real studio sessionn work the use of combis is pretty much limited anyhow.
Good stuff !
