Saving one single program

Post by WaterHead »

Is there a way to save one single program to a media card with the Triton EX? Sure I can save a bank and browse it in Media Mode to select and load single sounds. But what I would like to do is archive single programs I did myself on my computer and organize them in folders. Unfortunately I can not browse the PCG files on the computer and it gets a little messy this way not being able to see which programs are actually inside the PCG. How do you guys organize and archive your user programs?

Is there no way to do this other than Sysex Dump without using additional software?

Korg didn't make any librarian program for Triton.
You can't save one program in MEDIA mode. The smallest part available to save is one bank. Which you will be unable to open on PC.

There is some small librarian available for Triton Le, but I don't know it's name and don't know does it support Extreme. You can google for it.

We organize our files on Triton itself.

For example, I have one .pcg set which is dedicated to live playing. I never experiment with that set, just create new combis. Have another set where I shape new sounds - when they are done, I copy them to set for live playing.
And that's it.

Thank you. Sysex would be the way to go but this won't work if I use my own samples within the program.. I hate to find out that this otherwise nice keyboard has some limitations that make our lives harder than necessary.
